Media Agreement

All community partners collaborating with UWCT on volunteer projects are expected to acknowledge the United Way of Central Texas in project media and publicity. Credit must be acknowledged in all media interviews, advertising, press releases, printed programs, brochures, annual reports, event invitations, TV Ads/PSAs, radio ads/PSAs, and all other promotional and publicity materials.

 

Photo/Story Release

I grant United Way of Central Texas (UWCT) the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any photographs and stories that the agency may take/write of/about me or in which I may be included with others, to use, reuse, publish, and republish the photographs and/ or stories in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, and advertising, without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection with any use if UWCT so chooses. I release and discharge UWCT from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and/or stories, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of photographer and/or author, as well as the person(s) for whom UWCT took/wrote the photographs and/or stories. I have read this document and fully understand its contents.

 

Liability Release

I hereby release and hold harmless United Way of Central Texas and organizers, sponsors, and supervisors of all its activities from any and all liability in connection with any injury (including injury caused by negligence) received in conjunction with United Way of Central Texas activities. I also hold harmless from liability any person transporting me to or from any United Way of Central Texas activity.
