Citizens Review Committee
United Way of Central Texas works hard to ensure that all contributions are allocated wisely. This is done through an annual review process, whereby local volunteers assess community needs and determine how funds are to be allocated.
Volunteer panels make annual on-site agency visits to:
-
evaluate facilities
-
observe programs
-
interview staff
Through the Citizen Review process, donors are assured that their money is being spent wisely, battling the most pressing issues in our community, and reaching those most in need. These volunteers help ensure that the dollars raised in Central Texas stay in the community to help local programs delivers services to local people.
